April 2018 TBR

Jen
I have quite a lot of work related courses happening this month that I really need to focus on so that leaves precious little time for reading. Obviously I would love to read a whole lot more than this, but I forced myself to just stick to the books I most want to read and what I’m currently reading. I'll most likely end up reading some books that aren't on this list anyway, but I would love to finish a couple of these books and clear them off this list!

Currently reading
Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
Graevale (The Medoran Chronicles #4) by Lynette Noni
Firefight (Reckoners #2) by Brandon Sanderson
The Babysitter by Sheryl Brown

Other books I want to read
Hallowed (Unearthly #2) by Cynthia Hand
Head Over Heels (Geek Girl #5) by Holly Smale
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (#2) by J.K. Rowling
The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black
The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis
The Young Elites (#1) by Marie Lu

I've been bullet journalling for the past two weeks and it's been a fair bit of help organising my time, but I still haven't really dedicated myself to reading as much as I should be. 10 minute intervals is slowly getting me back into the habit of picking up a book at least once a day, so I'm hoping to actually finish more than one book this month. We'll see how I go. I also want to continue the fanfiction that's been taking forever to get through. In the meantime, here's a list of books I want to choose from.

Illuminae, Gemina and Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff - I have all of these on Audible, so I should really be listening to the first two while I do menial tasks, then move onto Obsidio (paperback because it's the first read, just a habit I like), which I'm really excited to read!

Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner - I've been wanting to read this since I bought it, so I really want to get going with this book!

Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings - This is also a book I've wanted to read since I bought it, but since I've already read the start of this (back before it was picked up by a publisher) I think I should continue.

Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes - This will be a reread, but since I finally have the next four books in the series, I want to reread this as a refresher. I've already started it, and I know I'll fly through it, so I shouldn't have an issue really getting into the story. If I finish it, I might just want to continue the series right away, but who knows. We'll just have to wait and see!
