I had 9
books in my most anticipated releases list in 2017 and I managed to read 5 of
them. I feel like about half is not too bad an effort and a definite
improvement from 2016 in which I only read 2 of my most anticipated books.

Always and
Forever, Lara Jean (To All
the Boys I’ve Loved Before #3) by Jenny Han
I actually
started this one as soon as it came in the mail and I finished it in 2 days. I
absolutely loved this book and thought it was an amazing conclusion to the
trilogy.

Wreck by Fleur Ferris
This was
one I squeezed in towards the end of 2017 and I’m so glad that I did because it
was brilliant and probably my favourite book by this author yet.
There’s
Someone Inside Your House by
Stephanie Perkins
I’m sad to
say that while this wasn’t a terrible book, it still ended up on my most
disappointing books of 2017 list because I felt that it didn’t deliver what it
promised and it definitely did not live up to my expectations.
A Court of
Wings and Ruin (A Court
of Thorns and Roses #3) by Sarah J. Maas
Another
book that I was disappointed with. Upsetting, but not really that surprising
since I wasn’t a fan of how things turned out in A Court of Mist and Fury.

Lord of
Shadows (The Dark
Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare
Such an
amazing book and I was loving it, right up until the end when my heart was
ripped out and stabbed into a million pieces. I’m still not okay.
And now
onto the books that I didn’t get to because so little time, so many books.
This was
super high up on my list of most anticipated 2017 releases and I’m so sad that
I didn’t get to it. However I made it a priority in 2018 and I’m happy to say
that I’ve now read it and it was amazing.
Long May
She Reign by
Rhiannon Thomas
I still
don’t even own this book yet and unfortunately it has fallen way down my
priority list as my focus in 2018 is on my unread owned books.
Immortal
Reign (Falling
Kingdoms #6) by Morgan Rhodes
I had
plans to re-read the first two books and then continue on with my read of the
series and that just didn’t end up happening at all. That didn’t even matter in
the end since this book got pushed back to 2018. I do have hopes to at least
start this series in 2018 but there’s just too many other books.
Wayfarer (Passenger #2) by Alexandra Bracken
Still
haven’t even read Passenger yet…
