1. A really hyped book you're not interested in reading?
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve read every single one of her other books and really enjoyed them. She is a fantastic contemporary author but I just have no interest in reading her venture into the fantasy genre. I actually skipped all the Simon Snow parts in Fangirl because I just didn’t care.
2. A series you won't start/won't be finishing?
The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. This was originally only supposed to be a trilogy, which I completed and ended up hating. I was very displeased to say the least when I found out that there were going to be three more books. I hate when an author finishes a series and then years later decides to revive it and drag it out unnecessarily. I absolutely will not be reading the rest of the books.
3. A classic that you're just not interested in?
The first one that comes to mind is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It was one of my required reading books in high school and I hated it. I don’t know how I managed to pass that class because I didn’t make it very far through that book at all.
4. Any genres you never read?
I don’t know if this is an actual genre, but I never read war/military adult historical fiction. I’ve actually read a couple of YA and MG WWII historical fiction books that I loved, but the adult fiction just bores me to tears.
5. A book on your shelves you'll probably never actually read?
I don’t actually have an answer for this question because I’ve already unhauled the few books that I didn’t ever plan on reading.

1. A really hyped book you're not interested in reading?
If it's got John Green's name on it, I'm not reading it. I did read The Fault in Our Stars, but I thought it was very overrated and way too overhyped. Plus, I've heard that his other books aren't as good as TFIOS, so that to me says that I'm not going to enjoy them.

I tried to read The Raven Boys and was just bored. I could already predict what was going to happen, because I'd read the same storyline in about ten Goosebumps books when I was a kid (eg. Oh, that character was dead the whole time? Never saw it coming [I didn't get that far through the book. Someone tell me I'm wrong]). 10/10 for originality (yes, that was sarcasm).

I am probably never going to read Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, just because of the sheer size of the book.

4. Any genres you never read?
I can't say I've ever read a western. Doesn't interest me either.

I currently have a small stack of books to unhaul and just haven't gotten around to taking them to donate. Two books in that stack are Riding Lessons and Flying Changes by Sara Gruen. I read Water For Elephants a few years back and loved it, so I picked these up, but never got to them. Now I've lost all interest.
