With one or two exceptions, I'm sensing a theme for this month! It seems like May is going to be another month of fantasy, but it’s what I’m currently in the mood for, so I’m just going with it!
Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander #2) by Diana Gabaldon
I started this book in April and actually managed to get just over halfway through. Considering how big this book is, I thought that was a great accomplishment and I’ll be aiming to finish it in May.
In A Handful Of Dust by Mindy McGinnis
I read Not a Drop to Drink in April but I didn’t continue on and read the sequel because I had so many other books that I wanted to read. However I do want to read the conclusion to this duology while the events of the first book are still relatively fresh in my mind so I will be reading this book in May.
Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare
This was on my April TBR and after finishing the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy novellas, I was super excited to read this one, but I just didn’t get to it.
The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
I did manage to at least start this one in April but I didn’t make it very far so I’m hoping to make more progress during May.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (#4) by J.K. Rowling
I continued on with my Harry Potter re-read for 2016 and read Prisoner of Azkaban last month. From that point on the books just get so much better so I’m excited to continue on with this book this month!
Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas
I finally read Throne of Glass in April and I absolutely loved it so of course I want to continue on with the series!
Gathering Darkness (Falling Kingdoms #3) by Morgan Rhodes
I read the first two books in this series over six months ago and loved them but I never continued past that point because my library STILL hasn’t managed to get a copy of this book. I’ve been really wanting to continue on with this series for a while now so I finally decided to just purchase the hardcovers myself.
The Lost Hero (Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus #1) by Rick Riordan
Yet another series that I wanted to read for a long time but I never got around to it. I completed my re-read of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series last month so now I can continue on with this series! Mel
I really want to finish some of the books on my currently reading list, so hopefully I'll get a few of these books out of the way.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by JK Rowling
That Sugar Book by Damon Gameau
That Sugar Guide by Damon and Zoe Gameau
The Siren by Kiera Cass
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
If I have the time, I also want to get a start on these:
Dream House by Marzia Bisognin
The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
