So many of the books that I want
to read in March are continuing on with series that I am slowly making my way
through. I actually didn’t realise that I had started so many series! I usually
like to f inish a series before starting another but that appears to be
something that has changed with my reading in recent months.
Dark Triumph & Mortal Heart (His Fair Assassin #2 & #3) by Robin
LaFevers
I read the first book in this
trilogy in February and absolutely loved it. I can’t wait to continue on with
the series and see what the next books bring!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of
Azkaban (#3) by
J.K. Rowling
Anne of the Island (#3) by L.M. Montgomery
Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz (Oz #4) by L Frank Baum
The Lion, the Witch and the
Wardrobe (Chronicles
of Narnia #2) by C.S. Lewis
This is one children’s series that
I never read when I was a kid. I bought the bind-up collection of all seven
books in February, read the first book (I’m reading this series in
chronological order because that’s how they appear in the edition that I have)
and really enjoyed it. I’m excited to read this one because to me this is where
the series really gets started.
City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments #4), City of Lost Souls (#5) & City of Heavenly Fire (#6) by Cassandra Clare
I had wanted to listen to all of
these on audiobook in February but that came to an annoying halt when the
e-audiobook of City of Fallen Angels wasn’t available from my library yet. I
will finally have access to it in March and I can continue with my
re-read/listen of the series.
This is turning out to be a long
and overly ambitious TBR list but there are a
few more series that I would love
to at least start if I can get to them.
Dark Heart Forever (Dark Heart trilogy #1) by Lee Monroe
This is the first book in a
paranormal romance series that Mel has read and loved and recommended to me on
several occasions. It is also one of Mel’s TBR picks for me in 2016 and after
having these books sitting on my shelf for months I want to finally start this
trilogy!
The School for Good and Evil (School for Good and Evil trilogy #1) by
Soman Chainani This is a middle grade magical fantasy series that I have been
hearing a lot of good things about lately and it sounded very intriguing to me
so I decided that I wanted to read it.
Delirium trilogy (Delirium, Pandemonium & Requiem) by
Lauren Oliver
It has been so long, almost a
year in fact since I read a dystopian series that wasn’t a re-read. Out of all
the unread dystopian series that I own, this one probably gets the most
negative reviews, which is the main reason why it keeps getting pushed further
down my TBR list. It’s time I stop putting it off and just read the series.
Even if I don’t read the entire trilogy, I at least want to read the first book.

I have a feeling this month is going to be a month where I just pick what I feel like at the time. However, I do have a few in mind that I will probably want to pick up regardless. The main challenge will be fitting them into my uni schedule!
Sapphire Blue by Kerstin Gier - I've already started this one, so I want to finish it.
Captive Prince by CS Pacat - another one
that I've already started. I got really into the first half of the book, but
since some of the themes in this book are not what I would usually read (LGBT),
my interest has dwindled a bit. I'm going to stick it out though, because it's
not a terrible book.
Bleach Volumes 1-3 by Tite Kubo - I found this in February and
since I enjoyed the anime, I decided to give the manga a go.
Bleach Volumes 4-6 by Tite Kubo - This is a last minute
addition, since I just bought it this month and it'll be a quick read, good for
the drive to and from campus or a quick read between study.
Death Note Black Edition Volume 2 by Tsugumi Ohba -
This is another title I just purchased. Quick and good for between study
reading.
City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare (audiobook) - I really
want to finish rereading the Mortal Instruments before going on to read Lady
Midnight.
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare (audiobook) - Same reason.
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare (audiobook) - Ditto.
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare - I'll
be getting this quite soon and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to want to wait to
read it!
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas - I don't know why this book
is taking me so long to read! I adore Sarah's work and I even got this book
signed, but I still haven't progressed very far in the year it's been out.
The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett - I have been recommended The
Discworld series by several people now, so I really want to get into them!
Mort by Terry Pratchett - same reason, though this
is the book everyone recommends to me, so I'm especially eager to get to this
one!
If I don't at least finish those mangas, I really need a slap on the wrist!!
