June 2018 TBR

Jen
As per usual, I seem to be in the middle of multiple series at once because I just can’t help myself and am always starting a new series. It’s actually feeling quite overwhelming so if possible, I would love to focus on finishing up some series and (hopefully) not starting too many more! There are also a few other random books that have been on numerous past TBRs and I’d really like to get to them sooner rather than later!

Currently reading
The Young Elites (#1) by Marie Lu
Shopaholic to the Stars (Shopaholic #7) by Sophie Kinsella

Series to continue
The Throne of Fire (Kane Chronicles #2) by Rick Riordan
Of Triton (Syrena Legacy #2) by Anna Banks
Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky #2) by Veronica Rossi
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (#4) by J.K. Rowling
Calamity (Reckoners #3) by Brandon Sanderson
Shopaholic to the Rescue (Shopaholic #8) by Sophie Kinsella

Other books I want to read
Save the Date by Morgan Matson
I am so excited for this new release!! Morgan Matson is an auto buy author for me and she writes some AMAZING summer contemporaries (Second Chance Summer remains one of my all-time favourite books). Once I get my hands on this book the trouble will be waiting until I have a full day where I can just read to my heart’s content because I already know that I will not be able to put this book down until I’ve finished it.
The Darkest Corners by Kara Thomas
The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis
Open Road Summer by Emery Lord
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

Mel
I'm hoping to get a few more books read this month. I really need to catch up on my reading challenge (I'm about 12 books behind, which is terrible for me!) and some of these are audiobooks, which take no effort to actually listen to (and I need to opt for an audiobook instead of music - which is a hard choice when your current fave releases a new album!)

Want to finish
LIFEL1K3 by Jay Kristoff
Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (audiobook)
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare (audiobook)
Everless by Sara Holland

Want to continue
House of Cards by sugamins
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by JK Rowling
Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

Want to start
Whisper by Lynette Noni
The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green
Furyborn by Claire Legrand

May 2018 Wrap Up

Jen
I have no idea how on earth I managed it, but I powered through so many books in May!! I started off the month in such a contemporary mood! I read my first Sophie Kinsella novel and that just spiralled into a new obsession of mine and I proceeded to embark on her entire Shopaholic series. I made it through the first six books and started the seventh before my reading mood changed abruptly and I just wanted to read something not contemporary. That led to me finishing up a few series which I was quite happy about! Also, I made some very satisfying progress in my goal to decrease my physical TBR pile!

The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood 3/5
Can You Keep A Secret? by Sophie Kinsella 4.75/5
The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic (#1) by Sophie Kinsella 4.5/5
Shopaholic Abroad (#2) by Sophie Kinsella 4/5
Shopaholic Ties the Knot (#3) by Sophie Kinsella 3.5/5
Shopaholic on Honeymoon (#3.5) by Sophie Kinsella 4/5
Shopaholic & Sister (#4) by Sophie Kinsella 4/5
Shopaholic & Baby (#5) by Sophie Kinsella 4/5
Mini Shopaholic (#6) by Sophie Kinsella  3/5
Ruin and Rising (Grisha #3) by Leigh Bardugo 4/5
Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand 3/5
The Red Pyramid (Kane Chronicles #1) by Rick Riordan 4/5
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (#3) by J.K. Rowling 5/5
Forever Geek (Geek Girl #6) by Holly Smale 4/5

Mel
I didn't read as much as I wanted to (I was mostly distracted by music this month, and I can't read and listen to music at the same time), but I managed to finish a book at least!

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare - 4/5
